Berlin goes +200 in franchise wins (over losses). The team still leads their division, though other division leaders look better. Pitching in Berlin is aging, offense never has all players peaking in the same year. And the rookies take a long time to develop, so maybe Berlins years of leading the division come to an end soon. It was fun as long as it lasted, and I just lucked into it.

After I wrote this, team went on a steady course. C Aaron Foster leads current MVP race with .944 OPS, followed by RF McDonald and his .825 OPS. P Humourless Josh Hoskinson is 13-3 with a 0.90 ERA in his age 34 season, yet still not leading Cy Young voting and probably will never win that thing (being humourless, he always carries his 3 WS rings, polished and shiny). Hoskinson is 2 wins shy of 100 wins in his career.

And Berlin even has someone in the running for ROY: it's CF Tobias Carver, a #24 pick from 1902 who is hitting .292 for the season.

Berlin recently lost a game against Brooklyn 15-2 in which Berlin fielders made 3 errors. Manager gregorgross was back to shouting in the dugout, clubhouse and on the practice field the next day.

But an even more interesting game was a 9-8 win against Moscow in which the lead went back and forth several times and which took 15 innings to sort out. Berlin had two batters going 0-8, but also 4 batters with 4 hits each (Moscow had two players with 4 hits. Both teams had 35 hits and 18 walks together. 494 pitches were made.

P Josh Humourless Hoskinson has his 5th season with 20 wins. Added up, this means he's collected 100+ wins so far. And never a Cy Young Award, but maybe this season? Hoskinson is 20-3 with a 0.93 ERA.
