    Can he do it? Gonna be close...

    Just reviewing All-Time records and noticed Tom Childress from Memphis needs just 9 wins to break Albert Jackson's long-standing record of 330 pitching wins. While in range this season, Childress is off to a rough 0-2 start win a 9.00 ERA. Is Father Time putting the beat down on Childress or will he become the Big Daddy of career wins? Time...literally...will tell

    Childress got his 9 wins to take the lead. It looks like there are 2 competitors to take over the lead in the near future though. Brian Bolt, only 9 wins away and Allen Cavallaro needs 40 but still going strong, might get there in 2 or 3 seasons. I wonder, will Childress decide to come back for one more year.
