Thread: Julio Bolding

    Julio Bolding

Julio Bolding has quietly moved into 4th all time on the career HR list. He sits at 932 HR, which means he would need 11 more to break the career HR record. He currently shows a 56% chance to retire this offseason. If he comes back for another year he should break the record barring a major regression in HR.

Crazy. Other than a small power decrease dude's still just about hitting his career averages at 40. Somehow plays 3 more seasons and he probably breaks 1,000.

I heard the current record holder is a jerk you should wipe all his records off the face of this leagues planet.

From memory, I’m not sure if Wiley is number 1 or mikkelson passed him.

Would also love to see what Modell does in this new "CO matters" world that we live in.

I almost traded Bolding a few seasons back and I'm glad I didn't. I haven't looked at retirement odds much lately, so I'm not sure how much stock to put into the 56%.

I wonder how the USB impacted him in '49 and '50. I imagine he would have had 11 more during those two seasons.
