Seattle was over the cap. I PM'd them that if they weren't under by 4/1, I'd get them under myself. I took their lowest salary non-starting player that made enough to get them under the cap and stashed them in my AAA until I hear from them whether they want to make the space to get him back or to cut him.

Should have notified the league of that. Sorry.

I figured it was a cap trade. But thought it may have been for a future pick. Thanks for the detail

Just to be clear, I don't own the player. He'll either be going back to Seattle or to FA.

So far Free Agent Era isn't being very friendly to the defending champs...

Defending runners up haven't noticed a huge difference.

Still a pretty small sample either way. I'm looking forward to comparing some stats at the half way point and year end. Not sure how the Giants will do this season, but last season was a horrific start and we ended up in the playoffs.

Yeah, I assume it's just small sample size results, its just odd that it's hit all 4 of my top hitters at the same time. My lineup #1-4 are down a combined 0.961 OPS, for an average of 0.240 each.

Interesting that the RNG for both my middle infield is up from last year. I thought the FAE would lower it?
