It will be interesting to see how he develops now and given his age.

Re: 1990 Opening Day and Beyond

Given that since the update the former formidable, slugging focussed Howlin' Wolf-offense is now one of the worst in the league (which can't be upgraded via FA), I had to focus on offense and, like LF Jacob, on almost ready offense players. Usually I go with best player available.

But best player available has become more difficult now, for if you go for highest potential you have to wonder if the guy ever reaches it. This also depends on the nature of the ratings (like SY or DI which take longer to develop) and so on.
Oakland Athletics - Remake MLB (lost 1 World Series and 3 Conference Championships in 5 seasons)
Williamsburg TriPowers - Psi Phi (WS in 1st season in 2078, so mostly the work of my predecessor)
Howlin' Wolf - Hippystock Moshpit (since #USB need to reorient in a now deadball league)
St. Louis Cardinals - Dynasty (well not much to show, it's a league with no scouting and lots of ill-humored owners)
Berlin Black Holes - Upsilon Sigma Mu (WS won in inaugural season)

(see my user record in CSFBL)

Take a look at the Cy Young Projections right now.

Who wants to (potentially) face me in the playoffs?

I want to face you in the playoffs. Because that would mean I made the World Series.

90s/00s is a fight with three teams tied for 1st and 4th place sitting just one game behind.

Literally had to do a double take when looking at this game. Wasn't sure if I was in the right league at first, when I saw a total of 6 home runs in one game.

After a nice little run, we're 1-5 in our last 6 before the noon sim. Got a W at noon, but who knows if it's the end of the losing or just a pit-stop.
