    2152 Season Thread

What am I going to do with SS Charles Nichols? His RA and BA have increased from 41 to 62 between age 19 and 23. That's not great with the A/A- potential. He gained 5 points this off-season, but getting just 3 each in the two years before has more or less killed his career. If the scouted numbers are to be trusted, but any scouting error is probably not to his advantage.

I really think we should turn scouting off in this era of Brian yoloing adjustments to numbers that he forgot to double-check 15 years ago.

I didn't even think to look at my LM after this flip until I saw this thread. That used to be the first thing I looked at. Same is true for at least 2 of my guys. Truman Harris, who I would have thought could be a steal in the 2nd round with his SL, gained 0 batting and 1 slugging this flip and is on track to be useful when he's 65 years old.

With the recent subtraction of P David Czerwinski via trade. I'd like to acknowledge his more than respectable contributions out of the bullpen as a former 3rd RD pick.

I'm coming more around to turning scouting off as well. Was not my original thought. Definitely shifting that direction though.

There are some reasons. I think with everything that changed it's just too muddy and is pointless. Tweaks done to dev and decline arcs make it more wtf season to season, especially if there are more tweaks done in the near future (this is not me saying there is something planned, as I don't know). Dislike what it's done to position changes, even if I don't do them much. I also still think those shouldn't be processed during the season, only the flip, I digress.

Don Joon off to a 17 for 27 (.630) start. Probably the best I can think of in my short 16 years.
