    Crowdsourced 2151 Draft Review Thread

I want to try out this idea. Here is an anonymous Google Form:

    https://forms.gle/AFPa34BAsmUh6Y838

No emails are required (so please don't fill it out multiple times). I'm just keeping it simple right now, basically ranking each pick on a scale from 1-5 in terms of value, however you want to define that. Trying to see what people think - if there's groupthink or consensus (or not!) about players. I'll do some writeups if I get a lot of responses.

I love it when you hate me.... in fake baseball games... not in real life... what are you my mother?

    Simple Rules:

    1. Winning the world series in a half unowned league is not worthy of your time.

    2. If you are trading an elite item like a no1 overall pick or an elite player, then don't take the first offer you get. Advertise your availability to the league to maximize your return. Your trade partner is not going to protect you from underselling yourself.

    3. Quoted from a thread about Monopoly gameplay: "This strategy will end up killing you in the long run. You WANT to make deals. You WANT to be easy to do business with. If players get the impression that you're always going to ask for unreasonable demands, they'll trade with other players, leaving you out of those trades, meaning you get nothing of value while they benefit. Remember, your goal in a trade should not be to screw your trading partner, but to screw anyone who isn't your trading partner. Then people will catch on and realize that if they're not going to give you fair rates, they're going to be left out in the cold, which means that you shouldn't be dealing with people who play that way either."

    4. Win how you want to win in this game. A lot of us try to define what is the best way or the worst way. Take the easy road and take the easy wins. Then, later, when you realize how boring that can be, find the hard ways to win. Then, show others.

well shoot, I didn't have picks so didn't bother to pull data. Sure wish I could go back and have a full draft page list like the old days now.

+1. A place to see all draftees would be great. League draft page shows drafted , team draft page shows available

Just going to bump this one last time. I only have 5 total responses sadly right now, was hoping for a bit more to give this some scale. Should only take 5 minutes, trust your gut!

I’d love too but I feel very uninformed. It’s a combo of phone usage, no great place to compare players and the one line of prospect info. It’s killing me right now and I’m trying not to talk about it.

This. I'm just not prepared to compare players. If you do this next season I will definitely pull ratings like I would if I were drafting. Then I can have an all in one place to compare everything. But the way everything is setup up currently it's just too many clicks and searching to find information.

As I said before... I really miss being able to look at the full 80 player draft list at any point in time.
