Yeah I took the 2B John Campbell. That name won’t last long in Pyongyang.

He’s 23, and my starting 2B is 26, so something has to give there too.

Yeah, Campbell seems like the type you position change. decent bat, plus RA at 2b, I imagine he becomes a 95+ra 3b for you.
I love it when you hate me.... in fake baseball games... not in real life... what are you my mother?

    Simple Rules:

    1. Winning the world series in a half unowned league is not worthy of your time.

    2. If you are trading an elite item like a no1 overall pick or an elite player, then don't take the first offer you get. Advertise your availability to the league to maximize your return. Your trade partner is not going to protect you from underselling yourself.

    3. Quoted from a thread about Monopoly gameplay: "This strategy will end up killing you in the long run. You WANT to make deals. You WANT to be easy to do business with. If players get the impression that you're always going to ask for unreasonable demands, they'll trade with other players, leaving you out of those trades, meaning you get nothing of value while they benefit. Remember, your goal in a trade should not be to screw your trading partner, but to screw anyone who isn't your trading partner. Then people will catch on and realize that if they're not going to give you fair rates, they're going to be left out in the cold, which means that you shouldn't be dealing with people who play that way either."

    4. Win how you want to win in this game. A lot of us try to define what is the best way or the worst way. Take the easy road and take the easy wins. Then, later, when you realize how boring that can be, find the hard ways to win. Then, show others.

I really wanted Ventura to fall to me at 12, but knew he would be the auto at 11. Was hoping to Ventura/Rice so I could have a solid/high floor guy in Ventura and a risker/higher ceiling guy in Rice.

I am all over the place at pick 13 now. I like P Cramer and P Toth, but dont want to go with a 2nd risky dev starting pitcher... that could have huge consequences in a few seasons if both have suck devs. P Quevedo seems like a safe pick, but i think he is more of an SP3/4 and thats too much reaching.

I am leaning pretty hard to SS Cornelius, because everyone loves SL.

No talky talky. Mexico taking the DI guy. In these times of no dev, his already 97 DI should be ok

Thought about the 97 DI guy, but the DI only guys dont play so well in this league. Like Mohan. And yours is a righty.

I had the 97DI guy as a target at picks 27 or 30. especially like that he is a catcher with some AR (though that EN is yikes).

But I am meta-drafting somewhat. Kind of hoping that development will get a bump in a future update.

Should be fun to see how we did this draft, maybe should track all the game updates to make asterisks haha. Im wondering how much this class will matter since they start their careers playing against the fully devved guys

I think I’m betting against a development bump in the world of normalization. Anything more than hope in your mind (for those of us who are Discord-deficient)?
