But that was a season when I was over the cap. This season I was under 60 million.
Oakland Athletics - Remake MLB (no WS yet: lost 3 Conference series in 4 seasons)
Williamsburg TriPowers - Psi Phi (WS in 2078, but that was my 1st season there, so mostly the work of my predecessor)
Howlin' Wolf - Hippystock Moshpit (no WS, not even close, and since the update even worse in that deadball league)
St. Louis Cardinals - Dynasty (well not much to show, but it's a league with no scouting and lots of ill-humored owners)

It looks like you swapped your 2093 1st rounder in a 2092 trade (wherein you acquired Trabuco's 2093 2nd rounder, #37).

I'm not 100% on it, but I think since you didn't have a 2093 1st rounder to penalize, the penalty on your 2093 pick was deferred to your 2094 1st rounder.

Looking at it further, it looks like that post in thread was from the 2092 preseason. It also looks like your 2092 1st rounder took a 10 spot drop because of it, so that seems to be good.

If you were over the cap in 2093 then my last post would still hold, but if you were good in 2093 then it seems like the drop this year is a mistake.

Well, I can't remember any trade causing this. My first pick in 2093 came in round 2 at #7, the transaction list of 2093 says (there was a trade early in 2093, resolving swapped picks from 2092, which was the P Brown trade). So I've still no idea why my 1st pick got moved down in 2094. Here's my draft list: my last 1st round pick was in 2091.

    * 2092 I was over the cap as the linked forum post says (strategy backfired to stay over cap, for I didn't even make playoffs)
    * 2093 I moved out of 1st round in order to complete trade for P Brown in 2092, but I was under the cap again
    * 2094 Team was under the cap by alot, I even was able to sign a few players and still stay under cap

Maybe the league commish who moved the pick down can tell me what I forgot? To me it seems I was penalized this year for nada. Also, please don't make a fuss out of it if it's really an error. I'm just confused if I miss something.

The 2092 penalty looks like it was it was applied in 2092 with your 15th overall being moved to 25th overall.

Hypothetically, if you were over the cap in 2093 as well, then a second penalty in 2094 makes sense as you didn't have a 2093 1st to penalize.

Given that you say you weren't (bolded above), I don't see why you'd be moved down 10 spots this year. Possibly just a mistake of not crossing off the penalty as having been applied.

Edit: I pinged christo and u2m as we're a couple days out of the 19th overall getting decided.

You traded your pick during a year where you exceeded the cap and took the penalty. Because you traded the pick before you took the penalty we applied it to a future year. It’s been listed In the pick tracker since.
    League: Team Names (WS Titles)
    Moneyball: Chernobyl Isotopes (2121, 2123, 2125, 2126, 2130)
    Psi Phi: Minnesota Moose (2085, 2086, 2087)
Blue Chip: LBV Magic (2020, 2022)
    LoC: Pittsburg Pirates (2093)
    Little League: MB Marlins (2035, 2039, 2040)
Knights of CSFBL: Terracotta Warriors (2056, 2061, 2072)
Outlaws: Black Hills Bison (2030, 2031)
    Penny Pinchers: Minnesota Muskies (1981)
Psi Psi: Vatican City Cardinals (2011)
    RTTB: Detroit Tigers (1961)
    Viva: Mogadishu Warlords (1990)

I see. Confusion solved. Maybe I should take notes for my teams or reduce the number of my teams to manage my mental workload.

Oh man the latest update destroyed my pitching lol. It was a fun one season bump that almost got me a title.

Happened to me in Remake AAA. 4th-5th place team rose up to finish 2nd (dropped 1st on the last game or two of the year). This year right back down as a 4th-5th place team.

Had the reverse happen in LoL and Moneyball where my offensive teams took dives and then perked right back up.
