    I see 5 vacant slots

Looks like this new concept might be chasing people out I’m not too sure I know the white sox and reds been gone for a while but I notice in other leagues I’m in people dropping like flies ....one thing I notice offenses are suffering for some reason **** I’m having fun trying to figure it out lol , but I’ll admit so far I like the old format better , easier to figure out

Yeah, they made a small side comment about singles being down a little with grass stadiums, but the talk on Discord finally came out that they wanted the collective OPS in the leagues to drop to more mirror the MLB. So this claim that the Classic Sim would more closely resemble the old model seems pretty far off. I know my franchise runs per game are down .65/game since the update. But I'm loving the corresponding drop in my franchise ERA of a full run per game.

Another thing is they normalized, to account for ratings inflation. From what I understand, how it works is, it looks at the ratings of the big 4 for P's and hitters, and averages them across all players in the league that actually play. And, whatever the average is is then "normalized" to 50. So, if a leagues players average 60 SL, then 60 now acts like 50, and on up the chain. The flip side is that ignored ratings, like CN, may have an average below 50, and thus are boosted. So, leagues where teams have all positions loaded with offensive studs will see a big hit to offense.

My offense was always very weak, so it hasn't affected me that much here.

BTW, everyone feel free to spread around what a great league we have here.

It’s weird I always had a strong offense now seeing a team batting average of 221 is weird lol I have to say though my era of 4.02 is weird as well lol like all things it takes time getting use to ...I have told a few people about this league ......see what happens

Mike Schmidt is having his best offensive year ever, but yeah a lot of people are leaving the game.

It may be the Vulpecula curse. The more I like something, the fewer other people like it. That's why products I love stop getting made and shows I love get cancelled. The update has me very excited and more interested in CSFBL than ever, so of course that means people leave.

I have a vast guitar collection, but I love quirky off brand stuff, so none of it is gaining value, lol. Well, none except my one Fender and my one Gibson.

I'm honestly debating dropping out myself, haha. It probably would have been better received if the changes were made in slow increments- it might have made them easier to digest. Although I'm sure plenty more changes will be coming

I hope your kidding Lew. Would really hate to see you go. I think this new system is just going to take time to get used to.
