CSFBL Format Changes - Discussion

I'm sure you have all seen the announcement. CSFBL is rolling out some significant changes.

While I’m intrigued by the dead ball era I’ll go with the flow of the league , I do like the implements that they are doing

Thanks for the reply Keith. I’m inclined to make changes slowly.
I’m planning on keeping the league as close to the original for the time being.
Experiment in our other leagues and then implement what we like here.

In particular I like scouting players. It’s one way you can outwork your competition. I’d like to see what the differences are between the classic and free agent systems.

Keep the discussion going. I don’t want to dictate. It’s our league, not mine.

I am unable to adjust anything until the start of the next season
I’m not impressed with the scouting by one letter grade. It’s near meaningless.

Hate it. Tired of having a team that had four .300 hitters to just one. A career .327 hitter batting .230 with a fraction of the power. Team currently on a 43-inning scoreless streak. Shut out four straight games. If things don't pick up, I'll probably be dropping hte game.

I just dropped the angels in all star gala. They have the best offense and pitching in the league. They lead the league with a 0.776 OPS. A team avg of .266. Multiple players with a BA over 80 have averages of .247 to .258. They have OPS all below 0.700. They sent the game back to the dead ball era.
