The December 2021 update will be rolling out tonight (Dec 30, 2021).
There may be brief periods of downtime as the release rolls out.
User Interface
Many tables can be downloaded as a CSV file by clicking on the small “download” link in the bottom right of the table. This was previously achieved by clicking on an export button above the table; these buttons have been removed. (You can only export to CSV, no more Excel or Text option.) On the user franchise page, a badge will alert you to any teams that have a draft pick in the next 24 hours. Also, there is a badge to alert you if a team has more than the league limit of players in low minors (typically, 20).
The league all time leaders page has been optimized for career leaders. Also, a new default Career and Single Season leader shows the top batters (Avg, HR, RBI, and SB) and pitchers (W, SV, SO, and ERA).
The league list page now hides retired leagues from all views unless you choose the “Retired leagues” view.
Fixed an error on the team news page that occurred when displaying items related to commissioner draft list changes.
Team Management
On the team draft list page, you can now click a button to reset your draft list to the game default (descending salary). This will help users who are having problems with their draft lists by “resetting” them back to a (working) default.
League Simulation
Players that do not get much playing time will look for progressively lower salaries. This does not impact leagues until their fourth season, and does not impact players until they are over 25 years old. The impact is greater as a player ages.
Computer-controlled teams will be more aggressive in calling up players from low minors.
Notifications
The amateur draft notification now includes the league name, helpful for people with lots of teams. Also, the time remaining before your pick is due is now shown correctly. They also will now respect your “league emails” selection on your account page.

The release started around 7pm EST -- to support the release and large data updates being made, we're going to skip the 9pm sim and keep the site offline until all data updates are complete.
