Bruce Campbell is 2 Saves from being the all-time Brockmire Saves Leader with 618. It can't come soon enough for Milwaukee. The "Always Use Closer" setting will be turned off and his 9 blown saves and 7 losses (please, no more) hopefully did not cost us a playoff spot. Oh, the sacrifices we make in pursuit of a record....

Well this Washingtom pickup finally woke my horrible offense up... as did a few guys starting to perform like they can. I hope it isn't too late as my goal is to get to at least 75 wins to keep avoiding the 5 year reasonable. Its looking tougher... amongst my years of 24th picks and old guys trying to do this, the old guys are continuing to move up the record charts.

Ferguson is now 5th in QS with Bravo getting up to 7th.

More importantly, Adam Bravo is now the new Brockmire strikeout king as he is approaching 4700 for his career and is still pitching pretty decently. I think he has a reasonable chance to get to 5,000.

Wahl is officially at a top 10 total for single season HR's with 59, with a hefty lead for highest single season SLG and OPS as well. The single season RBI total of 170 could fall to him as well, as hes at 144. 33 games to go.

He hit a HR and had 2 RBI in the game that just simmed. So 60 HR and 146 RBI with 32 games to go. .757 SLG and 1.190 OPS.

Going into full on rest mode has been made much easier with Baltimore dropping like a rock over the past 10, i might be able to hold on to 1st and gain a draft position or 2 riding my bench and AAA players. Also look to be on the other side of penalties. Looks like i'll get a spot there also.

Larry Rhodes has hit 10 more HRs this season so far uping his career total to 590. he's hit 30 HRs the past 2 seasons at age 36/37. His 20 last season came in 108 games with him posting an awful .616 OPS, this season he's only appeared in 38 games and sits at .756. If he continues coming back in future seasons he will be used the same way and maybe he slowly gets to #600. He and teammate Chris Curtis are the only active players nearing the milestone and 594 puts you in the top 10 all time.

Oakland hits 100 wins with a few weeks to go in the season... might be on track for the league season win record. Well done.
