    Simple Rules:

    1. Stop recruiting new owners for your half dead crappy leagues. Your efforts would be better used looking for a stable league with owners who actually care about their teams. Winning the world series in a half unowned league is not worthy of your time.

    2. If you are trading an elite item like a no1 overall pick or a superstud player, then dont take the first offer you get. Advertise your availability to the league to maximize your return. Your trade partner is not going to protect you from underselling yourself.

    3. Quoted from a thread about Monopoly gameplay: "This strategy will end up killing you in the long run. You WANT to make deals. You WANT to be easy to do business with. If players get the impression that you're always going to ask for unreasonable demands, they'll trade with other players, leaving you out of those trades, meaning you get nothing of value while they benefit. Remember, your goal in a trade should not be to screw your trading partner, but to screw anyone who isn't your trading partner. Then people will catch on and realize that if they're not going to give you fair rates, they're going to be left out in the cold, which means that you shouldn't be dealing with people who play that way either."

    Re: 2144 Live Trade Thread

Minny wants to turns players into picks/prospects. Have some good stuff to sell:

Pat Reyes C 30yo 1.595m 73 48 51 84 14 57 71 57 62 -4 He's not a world beater, but his DI/SL profile and average defense makes him a solid starter on some teams. Definitely better than any FA. Any 2nd can get him.

    Donald Caine 1b 29yo 2.735m 76 31 93 36 71 32 66 53 64 -4 has 9pts (45) of growth in SL to go. Solid ba/obp type with SP. Strong leadoff style. early 2nd.

William Jump 1b 30yo 3.120m 95 77 50 80 56 90 77 50 83 -3 Elite RA, great OBP, strong HR, decent SP. I have a LM guy ready to take over 1b, so one of them should go. Will take a 1st in the teens to move him.

James Hearn CF 27yo 902k 48 61 44 43 44 94 77 46 30 -2 elite CF RA. I use him at 2b vs LHP and as a super utility at the defensive positions. An early 2nd and he is yours.

Carl Burke P 41yo 1.838m 48 57 76 93 58en +4 Seems like he has something in the tank still. lost 3/3/4/0/3 points in the 5 cats. I have too much depth to carry him. Just about any 2nd and he is yours.

Keith Worley SP 28yo 2.021m 59 80 59 63/90 60/63en maxed first three, S.L..O...W growing SY. The FI plays now (esp since no other actual is bad). I dont mind the long play with him, but if you want to come off a late 1st, i have to listen.

Newton Warner RP 28yo 1.622m 89 71 59 35 53en +4 Closer of the year 2 years ago, pumpkin last year. kind of has a good year/bad year thing going. due for a goodyear, so early/mid 2nd probably does it.

Timothy Esparza SP 32yo 1.897m 86 36 65 86 71en -4 all maxed. I like this guy a lot. Has been a reliable rotation pieceSalary never higher than 2.135m in career. ERA between 3.03-4.19. Just consistent. Also put in good work in the playoffs. He will cost less than Burton, but more than Worley.

    0exp guys:

    Anthony Robertson CF 27yo 2.095m 62/69 29 86 44 48 67 88 72 34 -5 maxed all but DI. Not a special player imo, but a solid type who can play a decent Cf/3b if you need. Great value as a 0EXP guy. early/mid 2nd

    David Anderson 1b 24yo 2.100m 75/84 74 80 70 77 86 39 38 46 -3 ready to start at 1b for any team. I just happen to have a good one. Can deal either one. will take a 1st in the teens.

Roy Trotta 31, cf still good defensively and not much salary - 88-46-86

    the rest:
    Barry Corral 1b, 26yo 71-77-10-80
Tony Hartman 25, c great arm (99) and speed (93)
Eugene Mumaw 30, c 70-84-72-82 but would need a catcher or upgrade

    pitchers:
    Larry West 29 -- 93-66-75-56
    Louis Jessie 31 -- 23-72-79-81
    Douglas Diggs 32 -- 63-77-92-10

    low minors guys:
    Wilber Torres rf 20 -- 28/52-47/64-84/84-78/78 and 96speed
Richard Moore cf 20 -- 37/58-57/77-72/80-55/83 will probably need to be moved out of CF

send me a pm! or text. sexts are even better

22nd pick isn't enough, you'd probably have to include your 2145 first round pick too.
