    Season 97

    Season 97 starts (hopefully) soon.

    I hope for a .500 season.

The reason is the presentation of Michael „Ichiro“ Little as new Starprospect of PSU. The lefty Batter is the fastest guy in the league (99 speed) and has a perfect Batting potential (97 BA now, potential 99 BA) with decent Discipline. He could be a contender for highest AVG and most SB and will be our Lead Off Hitter.
Planned as RF with a decent arm he will start his career as CF.

Our second big name Addition is Closer Melvin Meade. With his strong stuff he should be tough to hit and stay as Closer over the next 4 years.
New in our starting Line Up is 3B Russel Shen who play 2B next year.

CL Jose Workman joins our starting Rotation.
New Set Up man is orlando Schupp, new Reliever is Robbie Gordon.
    Championships:
    FrontOffice Baseball: Houston Astros 2101, 2102, 2106
Historical Replay: New York Yankees 1939
Major League Baseball: Chicago White Sox 2106
Lightsabers and Blasters: Kuat City Commodores 2082
Dynasty: NCAA Champion: Louisiana State Fighting Tigers 1984

    Re: Season 97

Starting Pitcher John Thomas is the highlight of the Longhorns roster. He finished 15-17 last season but was named an All-American. He will continue to struggle to get help on offense but we plan to push him past the 300 inning threshold to give the student section something to be interested in!

As much as Arizona wants to win a 3rd title in a row, the chances of this are extremely low or possibly even 0% this year. We will do out best and hope to have a winning season.

Next year, we hope to be right back in the title mix.

Misnomer thread xD Season 97 is 2043

Cal’s in a run-it-back situation... but minus the decent-RA CF, the SP1, and the CL.

I’ve moved my 93 RA 3B to CF, and I’ve put an 88 RA C at 3B lol. It is what it is.

Team is gonna be nasty when the recruits move up
    Arizona Wildcats (CWS) 50.51.59.62.63.69.71.73.78
    California Golden Bears (CWS)
    Arlington Asymptotes (Spellcheck) 86.87.88.89.90.91.94.95
    Charleston Chew (NABF) 26.29.30.32.34
New York City Owls (DTL L34 t10)

I posted this in a different thread, but ASU may be historically bad. I'm thinking 100 losses. Nothing to look forward to except to see if Lane Martinez can put up offensive numbers like he did in 1995.

    Re: Season 97

It will be an interesting season for USC. The West has suddenly become super strong and we've simultaneously lost a step, and missed the playoffs last year.
Marsupial's predictions that we lose a couple more prestige spots may come true, however...
We do bring back most of our hitting from last year, particularly our top two bats in Hector Johnson and Christopher Brown. We also are adding the best pitcher USC has had since 4 time All American Josiah Martin in freshman Fred Holland. Defense is still stellar, so if any year in the foreseeable future would be conducive to a playoff run, this would be it.

An amazing start for freshman Fred Holland:

His first two starts are CG shutouts with only 4 hits allowed in 18 innings.
