Everyone else looks in pretty good shape. Meddle needs to hit 58 after winning 61 this season, so small concern there.
My team is NOT GOOD, but has never dropped below 65 wins. I'm proof that 60 is a reasonable minimum.

We're right at about the halfway point of the season, so thought I'd post a quick update to see where teams are in the 2067 season.
Tortuga: The good news is they've matched last seasons win total already, the bad news is their hole was so deep they still need to go 58-22 the rest of the season to avoid the 3/190 penalty again. But it's a start back to respectability.
Anguilla: Ohhh boy, this is getting ugly. After 2 strikes last season, they're currently on pace to win 48 gms this year when they needed 71, which will be 2 more stikes. If that pace holds they'll then need to win 89 next season. It's not looking good in Anguilla and I'm not sure how they recover once they start losing 1st rd picks.
Keywest: Meddle is flirting with danger here. 61 wins eeked by the limit last season and needs 58 this season to avoid 3/190. Currently on pace to win 50 gms, that's going to be 2 strikes this season. Next season Keywest will then need to win 79 to avoid their 3rd strike.
Best I can do is hope my #1-3 pick doesn't drop to 15 and can get a decent haul from the multitude of teams that have taken a step back.
The team was in terrible shape when I took over.
Interestingly enough, I was actually going to grab a young ace to pair with Rodrigo back in 2066 and would have transformed the team. Then my 1st rd pick dropped like a rock.
I have a few guys on offense I'm looking forward to flip to see where we are at.

Port Royal on pace for ANOTHER 65 win season. If you got a trophy for 65 wins, I'd have many of them.
You need to average 63.3 wins/season to stay at 190/3. I guess I've got that down?

From one commissioner to another, I think you should really reconsider this penalty. You can actually send a team into a true blackhole of suck by removing their ability to get firsts because eventually there is nothing to trade to get out of the hole. Even if you remove the old owner and bring in a new owner as a mitigation you're setting them up for failure early on too.
A better punitive solution would be to automatically pin them to picks 20-24 in the lottery or something.

I actually completely disagree here. The whole point of the rule(s) is to prevent owners from "cycling" if you will. Winning 50-60 gms for 4-5 seasons, accumulating top 5 picks, then winning is bad for league parity. I want everyone trying to win 70+ gms/year, every season. Don't sell everything on your roster if you don't want to get the penalty. Don't make bad trades. There's a lot of ways to avoid the penalty. The point of the rule is to make owners actually try and not just coast along.
Along with the lottery I truly feel that there is absolutely 0 reason to not try to win as many gms as possible every season. And that's a good thing for the league overall.
