    New single season strikeouts record holder

    In his final start of the regular season, rookie Ted Leal became the new single season strikeouts record holder with 367 besting the previous leader, Jason Winter, by 1 strikeout. He held this record since the 2003 season. Congratulations to Ted Leal!
