    Re: League Resources

Hey, that's a great system you set up. It will be very interesting to see a little earlier in the season (if possible and practical) so we can watch the changes in odds when it's a little more undecided.

Thank you very much for all the work you put in. YOU ARE THE MAN!!!!

    Re: League Resources

Reminder that picks in the 2nd round will no longer be snaked as of this year, 2010, going forward, unless obviously a future league vote impacts future seasons.

    Rulebook has been updated.

Draft review being posted after all picks are assigned. Also, expect a minor league farm system rankings sometime after the flip.

    Enjoy your Monday off everyone.

    Re: League Resources

A few updates and improvements to our Amateur Draft spreadsheet:

    - On the Draft Board, draft picks will now show if they have been traded or not, and from which team in the "Pick Traded?" column

    - Removed "Team Needs?" column from Team Data

    - Player names themselves are hyperlinked on the Available Players List, instead of the separate column structure

    - Fixed Diamond Visual to show "[No players left]" at a position instead of an error popup when all players in a certain position have been drafted

For those of you who asked, we do reuse the same spreadsheet and the same link every season for our Amateur Drafts. We will start to track past drafts starting this year as well.

If I trade now, to the worst team in the leauge (sub 60 wins), will that pick still be penalized? or will it stay as the best pick in draft?

Hypothetically, if you traded for Rayado's draft pick now, it would still be the no.13 pick. If you traded for the draft pick last year or a prior year, it would be the no.1 because the penalty is assessed against the original owner of the pick in the current season.

    Question:

RE: the below, if a player doesn't reach those experience thresholds, say a pitcher only pitches 29 innings, is it like they didn't play at all this year? will it affect ratings in the year after?

    Experience

How many years of experience a player has accumulated. A player is credited with their first year of experience after the season in which they have accumulated at least 130 career plate appearances or 30 career innings pitched. Additional years of experience are added after each season in which a player had at least 130 plate appearances or 30 innings pitched.
