I've got the two division leaders back-to-back - you people down South almost all carrying higher run differentials than your Northern counterparts. Must be something in the water.

Game 1 of the unstoppable force vs immovable object series was a resounding win for the 2 time defending champs.

Hi tiny ballpark definitely played a part. I haven't tried that gimmick yet but it appears to work pretty well. Maybe I'll do it next year.

I play better away than home generally, I've been wanting to go the opposite direction and get stadium like Lemke's, but I've wimped out/the draft didn't seem to lend itself to it. If I get Cervantes some year, maybe...

Negative. This is looking at all games (meaning each game) the teams have played so far and asking what does that tell us about each team’s expected record if they were to play 160 games against a hypothetical average (.500) team?

So if a team had managed so far to perform like an average team (somewhere between human drone), then they would be listed as an 80 win team in that table. You can see instead that the human teams are all significantly above the drones, as expected. They won’t all win 120+ games, but based on my rudimentary read of them so far, they would all win 120+ if they were playing a schedule of all average teams.

I suppose you could just think of them as power rankings that are put onto a more intuitive scale. This should have been my headline sentence, but I’m on mobile, and now it’s my closer. Sorry.

So you are just making up numbers based on attendance, got it.

We had a guy quit the league because I use a tiny ball park to win the championship the first year.

Interesting how you almost got swept by a drone team after sweeping Perry and Lemke to run your winning streak to 19. To use another mixed metaphor from a different league, that sounds like a Clone tank!

Yeah, you weren’t supposed to notice that. That’s my other gimmick this season, getting beat by drones. If I meet 4A 4A in the playoffs, I’m in trouble.

    Re: 2065 Season

Those that know me know that I don’t believe in jinxes. And I especially don’t believe that what I say on this board has any bearing on the results from the sim engine. I’m not prepared to give Brian credit for that level of gameplay. But anyway, Omaha hasn’t been shutout yet this season. The oddsmakers in Monte Carlo are giving him 1.5:1 odds of finishing the season without a shutout.

    Good luck buddy!!!
