Chandler has become the 45th player in league history to join the 1500-1500 Run-RBI club. This is 3/4 through his age 29 season.

I can't remember the last time I even came close to winning a DCS, in any league. I think this is my 8th or 9th straight DCS loss. My upset win of Tulsa here 3 seasons ago may have been the last time I won a DCS, not sure. When I hit my down luck times (usually the summer), it doesn't matter how good my teams are. Next season it will be autumn...

Brockmire is the worst. 8 straight 1st place finishes, and I haven't won a DCS in 5 seasons, I think. Maybe 4. Up 2-1 right now, but have zero confidence. I've fallen from higher hopes.

Good series, Vulp. I managed to take you out in 5 games, but each of my wins was very tight.

Game 3 was down 3-2 entering the bottom of the 9th and launched a 2-run walk-off HR with 1 out against a low-3 ERA starting pitcher serving as your closer.

Game 4 was down 1-0 through 5 before Chandler finally showed signs of life in a big 6th inning.

All in all last 3 games all decided by an average of 2 runs. Very fortunate I took them all.

Called up my new 89/98 RA SS for the playoff run. So far so good. SS RNG is 7.4 in the playoffs; his regular season predecessor (55 RA) was at 5.3. Team pitching BABIP down to .191 in the playoffs, was .275 in the regular season. Very excited for the extra edge he gives our pitchers for the postseason!

Congrats on the title, VI. Coming through in the clutch on two different Game 7s to get it done. Great stuff!

Also, good season to Sharpe, taking me out in a clean 5 games in the conference finals. Game 1 was a tight overtime loss for me, but was up 4-1 through 4 innings in Game 2 and seemed when 2 straight errors turned “guy on 2nd with 1 out” into “bases loaded with 1 out”, eventually ballooning into a 3-run inning to kill my lead. Just seemed like that sapped the life out of my guys, and we never recovered.
