Re: Big League 2012 news and Highlights

I suppose the CenTex Flapjacks World Series win over Royston could be considered a bit of a shocker. My squad got into the playoffs with the fewest wins (85). Hell, we only had three All-Stars (RP-Donnelly, SS-Pryor, and CF-Milton). Seriously thought we were another year away from being really good - needed another starter and a power hitter. However, there seemed to be no real weak spots in the line-up, all solid OBP, just enough power, and some very fleet-footed base stealers.

The decision to go to 4-man rotation was probably the smartest I made this year. A solid, not spectacular rotation carried us. Same for the bullpen.

My #1 starter Nelson Sacco must have been pissed for winning 21 games and not making the All Star list. He clinched both game 7's in the Conference and Series final games. This series is my team's second since I took over. It's the most satisfying because I didn't think we would make the playoff - let alone win the whole damn thing.

    Great season guys!

Congrats Big Tweed! That was a epic dog fight of a series. Now onto 2013. Expect a major announcement coming from Royston soon. Hint: think fire
