If you’re uninterested in drafting, I’ll take your picks. Call the office.

One rule change I'm recommending, is that AUTOPICKS get moved to the end of the entire round, not just the end of the block.

So if someone has the number 1 pick, but they are just too darn busy to take 5 minutes out of their lives to make their pick on time, then they would go from having the 1st pick, to the 24th pick. The only thing that would move them up at that point would be other super-busy AUTOPICKers.

I actually wondered... if I just gave all the AUTOPICKS a bunch of scrubs instead, would the super-busy AUTOPICKING team owners even notice? And if they did notice, then why didn't they take the 5 minutes they took "noticing their scrub pick" to just make their pick?

All you AUTOPICKERS, if you are on death's bed, won the lottery, etc, then I apologize in advance. Life always takes priority over a silly game.

But for the rest of the AUTOPICKERS, especially the ones who do it every draft, I gotta be honest. I'm trying to replace you with more active owners. Because inactive owners suck. That is all.

I don't think that change is beneficial, even if I sympathize with your frustration. As you say, either they have a legit reason or they should be replaced. Making the deterrent more severe would unbalance the league more than their temporary inactivity warrants.
