    Re: 2012 League Discussion

Yakima and New York City made a huge trade today.

Yakima sends LF Greg Anderson, and Ps Joe Eastwood and Jeffrey Cave to NYC. Anderson has the 4th best career batting avg in league history. Eastwood has been a successful closer in Yakima. He has shined in the post season, going 12 for 12 in save opportunities with a 1.08 ERA. Cave has elite SY and sports a 1.76 ERA this season.

Yakima acquires P's David Oliva, Mike Jones and John Lewis. Oliva and Jones have elite SY. Yakima wanted to shore up the pitching and this should do the trick. Lewis has elite CO and should improve from a very bad start.

Earlier, Yakima also acquired P Jack Powell from Tulsa. Powell also has elite SY.

Things are looking up for the World champion Yetis as we go for our 3rd title in a row.

With only three games left in the season, Canton finds itself in the position where it needs to win out against Lake Mary to sneak past them and get into the playoffs.

It's been a tough 3 team race the last 1/2 to 2/3 of the season in the Mountain division.

Congrats to Lake Mary for making the playoffs... they won the pivotal last game of the season to finish one game higher than my Wildcats.
