So Williamsburg lost a game giving up 16 runs recently, which was normal last year and is totally unheard of this season. What actually happened?

Williamsburg was leading after 7 innings, 7-0. They had already burned through the starter and 3 relievers at this point, so recent FA signing Michael Shaw came in. He had to make 6 outs to preserve a 7-0 lead. This was his pitching line:

2 IP, 14 hits, 16 runs, 4 BB, 1 HR

And thus, Trabuco won 16-7. Shaw is awaiting a cut as soon as a replacement is signed. But it is actually the idiot game manager who should be cut. There was still a long reliever available.
