    The Detroit Tigers will take Val Nealy, 2B with the second pick.

    The previous owner of the Tigers already renamed a 2B Frank Bolling, so no rename at this time.

    Pittsburgh took Ray Herbert, scouts told ownership he was the most complete SP available in Round 1.

    Pittsburgh scouts didnt have the 10 in scouting that the brooklyn scouts do :P. Herbert is probably 4th or 5th. His scouted pots are 2-5 lower than his unscouted in the "big 4" and he's probably a 5-6 inning a start guy with the low EN.

    In spite of the fact that we only do the first 16 picks here, since I have him next on my draftboard, Senators draft Willard Nixon with the 17th pick.
