Ok so what’s the toll so far on employment in the league (and visitors like Anathema)?

I am keeping my job for now, but I’ve deferred my bonus and annual raise, and I’ve taken a temporary 67% pay cut, such that my income is no longer enough to pay the bills. Hopefully temporary. Obviously a ton we still don’t know abut duration. My retirement got ****ed like everyone else’s, and I don’t even know what my equity in the company is worth at this moment, but it ain’t much. Going through two financial crises over a dozen years in the prime of my earning power and peak overhead with kids feels cruel. Anyone else want to commiserate?

I’m sorry. This sucks. Are there any other routes, like email or website/chat? Even if that was just to get someone to call you?

They only seem to have a web chat for resetting my PIN which then tells me to call. I emailed them today and it bounced back, so I'm assuming that's not an option. They open at 7am tomorrow so I'm going to be start calling around 6:45 to see if I can get through right when they open. They're supposedly working on getting better access but who knows how long that will actually take.

Thankfully I can afford rent/bills for April and the Hilton is offering free meals daily for the staff. Other job just closed our store permanently so I got a bunch of toiletries and misc stuff.

Re: The Real Coronavirus Thread 2020

As of now still employed. We were given 2 weeks off, paid. After that I have 1 week of paid time off. So I'm good for at least another 2 weeks. Beyond this next week I have no idea what the company has planned. I have heard rumors of paying employees 60% of their normal pay, which would be pretty rough as a single earner. If people start getting let go I have no idea where I stand. I'm a tenured full time associate, but while I am paid by my company, my position is funded by a third party. I would imagine that as long as that third party is doing well they wouldn't pull their funding to my company for my position; and I would be safe because I'm otherwise free labor for my company. If the funding gets pulled my position likely gets eliminated and I'm probably screwed. I will add that it has helped that my company has been able to remain somewhat open, even if at a very limited capacity with a skeleton crew. And online sales have helped keep money coming in as well. So fingers are crossed.

Working per usual. When the school's first shut down the company gave everyone a week or 5 days they could take. If you had trouble finding arrangements to watch kids. 5 exrta sick days to take. If feeling sick don't come to work. Also now giving the option to take 8 weeks off unpaid, but no guarantee you'll return to your position or even have a job if those openings are filled durning your absent.
When the expectations are so low, you cant possibly lose.
