    2040 season

At 5’7” and 145 lbs of pure fury , William Na has been absolutely crushing it in his cup of coffee as an INF Reserve.

    3 games, 8 hits in 13 AB, 2 doubles, a triple, 4 home runs and 10 RBI’s. With only 1 K.
    .615/.615/1.846/2.462

Unbelievable. Also has two player of the game. $349k well spent.

    And a D McD update, .707 SLG with 11 HR’s and 27 RBI’s in 20 games.

Glad to see Joe Aycock on an active roster. Even with a division rival. The Yesler Way managements goal was to move C Lawrence Williams to allow us to have Joe DH and wind out his stellar career hitting for us. But plans don’t always work out - so best of luck Joe (except when playing us haha).

Well that's how I feel about Frosty. I gave him as long as I could but he was getting hammered regularly so of course now he plays for you he is good again.

Aycock has been a good pickup so far but it's really pitching we need in Maine. Guys who were good stopped being good.

It’s really odd how it works out sometimes. I’ve released players who struggled for years for me only to watch them rediscover potential somewhere else.
Maybe it’s some ‘Change of scenery’ thing.
    Best of luck this season.

    Re: 2040 season

Buffalo wins seven of last ten to sneak into the playoffs. The team was tied with Vancouver, but has the tie-break in pocket.

The team attributes this measure of success to its defense... team batting stats were solidly in the bottom half of the league. Relatively few strikeouts were to be had by its pitching staff, but team ERA and WHIP were in the top few places this season. Four relievers had a sub 3.00 ERA.

It seems odd that a team with a losing season can make it into the playoffs, but I guess that's what can happen in a pretty balanced division.

Buntsville plays like crap down the stretch including a 4 game sweep by the eventual division winner The Red devils. We'll see what happens, we're a little thin on power.

The series to watch is that Allegheny/Modena matchup. 107 wins vs. 104

That is just aweful, MJ finishes the season with 399 wins, can he come back for age 44 next season?
