I'm confused. I followed the link in the OP and all I see are rules that were rejected. What are the new rules? I will not vote for any rules that punish people missing draft picks. Missing the draft pick is usually punishment enough.
I don't think any rules were rejected. There was just the suggestion of keeping the Brockmire award and the note about bug exploits. Those sections are in blue since they were added to the initial rule proposal.

There were two other suggestions regarding the draft - one to randomize the auto picks, and the other to move autos to the end of the block, and these were decided not to take forward.
The OP in that thread are the 'new' rules DiMo, although they don't really change much. It's more about getting rid of rules we don't use anymore, and streamlining the whole thing so it's more accessible and easier to enforce. The old rules can be found in the link on that post, for comparison. So if you want you can go through the old rules and see what's changed, but really all you need to do is look through the rules that are there, and vote on whether you're happy for them to be the official Remake rules.

It seems fine to me. As long as there is a vote for commissioner. I understand that activity is down and it’s hard to find people to step up, but remake should be headed by someone with good experience. I think that’s the only thing that caught my eye. I know there’s nothing drastic in there

Hmm. After reading 2.6, it says there are nomination periods every 6 seasons and what happens if no one is nominated, but it doesn’t state how the election would work. Is it a league vote or committee vote? Maybe throw in a few details to the process. It doesn’t have to be extravagant. Everything there is implied and I don’t think it will cause problems later, but maybe make it a little more clear

Thanks bigtank, this is a good point! I've added a clause 2.7:
2.7 When there are two or more nominations for a post, an election will be held. The election will be by private forum poll in the Remake Community Lounge, where the results will be transparent but the individual voting preference will not be displayed. All owners in the Remake community will be eligible to cast one vote in any commissioner or committee election, regardless of the tier the election is for.
Hopefully that captures it?
