SF and Delaware have swapped picks - pick 24 and the rights to 1B Frederick to SF, pick 29 and the rights to 2B David Young to Delaware

Why did you guys swap picks? There weren't any other players involved. Delaware didn't send me any messages for his picks, but then trades his pick for your lower one?

I sent our 2nd rounder next year as well! Also he autodrafted at 24 and preferred the player I took at 29 plus the future 2nd over the auto at 24!

It still doesn’t make any sense to me since Delaware could have just sent in a list and drafted young instead. He didn’t send a single message after getting all those picks, but then trades his auto for another pick next year.

Yeah I cant explain that lol. I sent him an offer with some comments and he emailed back, actually hoped I could get 3B Dressler at 29 but he was gone already. But I sent him a proposal for Young and the 2nd for the 24 and he accepted.

In the email he did say something about setting his list, let me see if I can find that and send it to you. Maybe we can help him get lists submitted for the future?

My guess is Delaware simply missed their draft slot and auto'd....Had they seen that they were up they would have drafted Young or someone else better than their auto pick. Since Delaware is getting a second round pick next year it is kind of like moving down 5 slots in this years draft to acquire a future 2nd round pick.

Their auto pick was the best player left, so still silly, but I digress.
