    2065 season discussion

Its evident that Vashons team needs someone to take over until hes back. No more changes to roster even though several of call ups are available. Off to a 4-10 start, headed for another top pick next season.

I'm sure there are plenty of people on the site that would help vash out. All they would need to do is be given access to the team temporarily to adjust roster and maybe make picks in the draft. Then add vashon pack after the draft.

Did you expect something that did not happen? I pulled everything that was listed in the 2065 traded picks thread:

Tulsa better than expected at 12-12 so far. 2nd year DH Bradford was one of very few bright spots last year (my closer kicked *** and was easy FoY choice, so he definitely qualified as well) and finished 2nd in RoY voting. He’s been even better so far this year.

After a massive boost to his BA, Bradford is hitting .361 with a strong .470 OBP and .965 OPS. That puts him 8th in AVG and 5th in OBP in the early season. Rest of the rebuild going very slowly so far (but excited to see the draft list fall soon!), but this guy is once again giving me something to cheer for during an otherwise empty season.

37 y/o Solis kicking some *** in the early season: 1.76 ERA, 8 GS, 8 QS, 6 CG, 1 ShO. One more fun thing for me to follow in my rebuild.

    Re: 2065 season discussion

I have been reducing my involvement in several leagues through the last month or three. Please note that I will be releasing Orange County at the end of this season... or sooner if someone else is found to ride the team into the playoffs (hopefully) this year. This is the first season that the team is over .500 (currently a respectable 52-37) since I have come onboard, and I think the team has a little kick in it for the next few seasons.

Thank you all for having me over the last six or seven months... it's a decent league which I wish I could have found more time for.

Thanks for playing here Dave! Good luck the rest of the season - finish with a bang!
