Looks like Indy will be testing this, this year, given our 1-10 start. I knew we had to rebuild, but I didn't know 1 trade would send us completely crashing down.

Now at 1-13, I became desperate enough to go by what the lineup analysis tool suggested I bat my vs RHP lineup (by career stats)

Apparently, longtime LF Palazzolo had been worth about 40 wins per year for me, all these years.

    Apparently, wins.

I need 10 more wins to hit the minimum 50 to avoid the one year draft penalty, and I don't have confidence that will happen at the moment. 0 for August.

Edit: We have 43 games left, can we win 10? well that 65 to 1 horse won an important race, surely we have half a shot.

Edit: We just won back-to-back games for the first time since a 3-for from July 5-7.

    Re: 2107 Minimum Wins

Hmm, 8 win in last 10 games. Seems my players figured they couldn't tank enough to incur the one year penalty, so the least they could do was play at 110% to up the wins enough to best a couple of other teams and drop my draft position that way.

Note: I've never had the #1 pick which I suppose is a good thing in a way (though I have had the #2 at least 5 times off the top of my head, twice here early on if I remember)
