    700 HR's

San Antonio's Jimmy Wynn cracked his 700th career HR a couple of nights ago. The 39 year old Wynn, hitting only .177 this year, is also only 23 RBI away from 2000. He announced in spring training that this would be his final season regardless of whether or not he reached those coveted milestones.

700 Career HR's? That's just an unreal accomplishment! And I cannot believe Wynn won't get his 23 Ribbies! Congrats, TC, on Wynn's historic career. Ya Done good!

Getting Wynn to the Bullets may have been the trade of the decade, too...gave up what turned about to be almost nothing to get Wynn, who was the #8 overall pick in 2008. It's also worth noting who Toy Cannon drafted with his own pick (#13 overall) in '08: Joe Niekro, who won over 200 games for the Bullets and collected 2 Cy Young awards. Pretty nice haul from the 2008 draft class.

Yep, one pretty impressive draft class and congrats on Wynn's accomplishment, Toy Cannon.
