    1947 season

Feller/Martel matchup for the opener in Philly. Both pitchers had perfect games through 5. Philly then went on to hit 3 HR's off Martel (which I cant remember him giving up 3 hr in a game before, but maybe he has) but that was it and Feller gave up 3 in the 7th and the go ahead run in the 8th and old man knuckles Russel Warren https://www.csfbl.com/player/view.asp?playerid=4603913 - rescued off the scrap heap.
closed the door in the 9th for the Dodgers.

    Re: 1947 season

well, I was away for a week on vacation and I came back to see that James Martel has won his last 19 starts, which is insane. He's also up to 9% seafat so, he's going to be shut down for the rest of the season to get ready for that team out east. Martel will finish the season with a career high in wins at 27 , and an era of 1.50.

well scratch that I wasn't able to log in in time to change out the rotation today and it looks like he got slapped around by Philly. LOL. pretty much like old times.

well Boston has got to be pissed, winning 103 games (so far) which is enough to win any other division, yet they won't even make the playoffs in the NL East!

Yeah, that sucks. 3rd best record in the entire league stays home. It's happened to me and it's not fun.

Somehow I screwed up my rotation and started a scrub in game 2 of the LCS. Wasted a 10 run game from my offense!
