Schedule gods decided on an oddity this season for my team. 46 of the last 53 games on the road!

Nice to see so many new teams currently in playoff spots such as Deadwood, Sugarwall, and Seattle.

Hey now, at least the run differential counts too, maybe not directly unless you get top 5 but everyone will know at the end of the sprint were you were. Currently you sit at 6th, only about a 100 out of 4th, just need a big last season!

Always a good idea for an owner to downtalk their team. Palapye has suddenly gotten very hot, all without calling up the number 1 pick.

The Leatherstockings, in an effort to spark a run to secure a playoff spot, demoted veteran SP Leonard Smith after an underwhelming 16 wins/58 starts over 2 seasons. 23 yo finesse specialist Bubber Padgett gets the nod. Padgett in his rookie campaign earned the spot going 8-1 with 5 saves out of the bullpen.

    Re: 2009 Season Discussion

I designed my team to be most competitive during years 5-7. Unfortunately, we won 75 games in year 7, so I still have some work to do in making this a science. However, my team has exceeded expectations in years 8 and 9, and I am very happy. My goal is a Top 5 overall finish, which I think is still very possible. I am very happy to be in a race for the final playoff spot in our division. Obviously, I hope I win, but best wishes to everyone for a good race. Our division has been extremely competitive all along, and as frustrating as that is sometimes, it's still a good thing.
