    Re: 2008 Season Discussion

Well, I gotta love a 6-3 start. I won a series against LC, and at least 2 of 3 from Balmers and split with Tyrus to survive a seven game stretch against the two playoff teams from last season from our division. Last season, I got murdered in the division. I'll have to go back and look at it, but I think that was a huge reason I finished with 75 wins.

My pitching staff is aging and my lineup isn't exactly a juggernaut, but I think I have enough firepower to win 85 games minimum. I'll just have to manage them hard and keep scraping.

Well, nothing else is working, so might as well try.

My team is full of a bunch of bums and have zero chance to make the playoffs.

He 'bounced back' giving up 5 ER in 6 innings in his next start. With that kinda power it's going to be a roller coaster season...

Lets even things out. Great starts against the rest of the league, and not against me. Deal?

Absolutely thrilled with a 21-6 April. Young pitchers really hitting their strid with a team ERA of 2.61. Hope I have enough offense to support them. Seeing that one FA hitter go unclaimed initially without a single offer feels like a blown opportunity. Still tend to forget that you can make an offer on more than one player.

I'm totally sure none of your pitchers are pitching way over their heads. Not at all!

I would like to move up in the draft if possible. I'll trade pick #7 plus something.

i find writing scathing articles about my players to be quite therapeutic
