There are a handful of great pitchers this year that definitely could be in contention for the Cy Young. However, Andrew Baccus is having a stellar year (1.57 ERA,0.96 WHIP, 195 IP) and is only 5th on the Cy Young rankings in his conference. The 4 guys ahead of him have 2.83, 3.07, 3.35, and 3.49 ERAs. And then in 5th place is 1.57 which is only half that of some of the other pitchers in contention for the award. I know that guys have pitched 250 innings but this just doesn't feel right....
