Who needs a 2B? A lot of you do and need one for the stretch. What's the highest offer?

    2B Eric Murphy

    85 BA, 88 RA

    2B Earl Thomas
    73 RA 70 SL 68 BA, 63 DI

    Re: 2114 Live Trade Thread

1B William Fogel (former #7 overall) 93 SL 68 BA
    2B Eric Murphy
    85 BA, 88 RA
    2B Earl Thomas
    73 RA 70 SL 68 BA, 63 DI

Looking for a top end high RA SS for long term.
Looking for SP1 = FI based (SY and EN preferred)
Looking for high RA/SL/BA two way prospects (SS/CF/2B/3B)
    Looking for picks

I am listening to offers for the young and disciplined 3B Darrell Slater (83 DI, 59 BA, 90 RA, 69 AR, 79 GL, 71 EN), who has proven his worth an an all around 3B with amazing defensive ability.

    Peter Smith
(71-70-80-85-57EN) is 30 years old and can do it all. The well rounded SP 2/3 type is looking for a playoff caliber team. Harry Ohl (97 FI, 65 CO) is having a down year but his stats last season as well as his 97 FI prove he can be a quality starter or relief pitcher, and he is still fully in his prime form at age 32.

CF Jonathan Boling (77 SL, 65 DI, 82 RA, 69 AR) can be had relatively cheaply. Same for veteran 1B John Stewart (83 BA 82 SL) and most veterans on my team. LF William Langlinais (81 SL, 81 DI, 71 BA) is 36 years old but still has a deadly bat for a weapon. 30 yo 3B Frank Worthy (88 DI 70 SL, 72 SP) may even be worthy of your 2nd round pick.

I also have some quality prospects available for deal as well:

C Alfredo Mathews (84 DI 82 SL 87 RA 66 AR) is a well disciplined slugger with some D. 1B Jack Black (89 DI 78 BA 77 SP 70 RA 78 AR) is a late bloomer but is going to make an impact next season.
2B John Carley (68 RA 92 AR, 70 SL, 70 DI, 69 SP) can be a bottom half 2B starter or legit backup option for any team.

I just signed Richard Wilsey if you need him for some relief. Dude has 85 EN 79 PO 71 SY with 60 CO and 58 SY making him usable as an inning eater and could help restore seafat in a playoff contender.

2B Michael Mathis looks legit (76 SL, 68 BA, 64 DI, 81 SP, 61 RA 68 AR) as a utility guy and possibly move him to 3B or CF, LF or RF for stronger defense. His bat may find him games.

Matt Le can use a new home. His 88 SY and 73 PO to go along with 68 EN should make him a very solid starter in the league. I want to keep super speedy BA guy Thomas Ressler but I'll listen to offers.

    Simple Rules:

    1. Stop recruiting new owners for your half dead crappy leagues. Your efforts would be better used looking for a stable league with owners who actually care about their teams. Winning the world series in a half unowned league is not worthy of your time.

    2. If you are trading an elite item like a no1 overall pick or a superstud player, then dont take the first offer you get. Advertise your availability to the league to maximize your return. Your trade partner is not going to protect you from underselling yourself.

    3. Quoted from a thread about Monopoly gameplay: "This strategy will end up killing you in the long run. You WANT to make deals. You WANT to be easy to do business with. If players get the impression that you're always going to ask for unreasonable demands, they'll trade with other players, leaving you out of those trades, meaning you get nothing of value while they benefit. Remember, your goal in a trade should not be to screw your trading partner, but to screw anyone who isn't your trading partner. Then people will catch on and realize that if they're not going to give you fair rates, they're going to be left out in the cold, which means that you shouldn't be dealing with people who play that way either."

I'm more willing to move Lambert, as he probably wont get playoff atbats, probably a 2nd rounder is a good starting point
