Harrisburg just edges out Mobile Bay in K's (1,029), and leads in quality starts (94)
San Antonio is the power team, leading in HR's (238) and the related stats slugging (.501), RBI's (744), and OPS (.860)
Portland has the team steals lead (152), while Tennessee has allowed the fewest SB's (78) and has the highest caught stealing %

Can anyone find anything else to brag about?
Harrisburg also edges out Mobile in K/BB ratio (2.3) Mobile has a meager 2.2.

On a semi related note, after wondering and going back and forth between Mobile Bay (Bears) and Mobile (Bay Bears), I searched and it's final. Bay Bears

Apparently, there are Grizzly Bears, Black Bears, Panda Bears, Brown Bears and Bay Bears.

I signed PSFA James Lewis this spring and he set team records with Walks (167) and Runs (155). The runs scored also tied for the league record. Also I won't complain about the 55 HR and 126 RBI. The 27 yo should be a lock for ROY.

Other players cracking the top 10 in the league all time:
    Harold Sanders .735 SLG (10th)
    David Rogers 14 Triples (7th)
    DH/inf Caerus Jacobs 212 Strikeouts (3rd)
    Jimmie Robinson 26Wins (10th)
    Rodney Pigford 12 Shutouts (1st)
Nolan Frankel 351 hits allowed (5th) and ER 177 (1st)

Frankel even being in a rotation was a disgrace to the league.

Sanders and Pigford should win the MVP and CY. Tip of my hat to them.

Senators have back-to-back MVPs with Cobb winning last year and Thomas Lewis winning this year:

Most Valuable Player Player Conference Posn Team 2110 Stats
    Thomas Lewis American 1B Harrisburg Senators .286-63-154, 120 R, 1.083 OPS

With 2 MVPs on the roster, anything less than a WS championship will be a disappointment.
    World Series Champions:
Sioux City Explorers (Iowa Farm League) - 2011, 2014
Iowa Cubs (MLB ReMake - AAA) - 2014
Harrisburg Senators (MLB ReMake - AA) - 2002
Iowa City Raptors (WEBL) - 2000

On to the World Series for the 2nd straight year.

The Divisional Series was a nail biter, going 7 games. The heart and soul combo of Raymond Reynolds and Rodney Pigford made for a terrific comeback against a very good Mississippi squad. I was pretty sure the Bay Bears were headed for an early exit from the postseason.

The Conference Series went according to plan. That is, with a hope and prayer. Luis Izzo was called on to be the ace of the staff due to the previous series tax on Reynolds and Pigford. He responded admirably with 2 CG's, giving up just 6 runs and winning the deciding game, propelling Mobile to advance past a strong San Antonio team.

Rodney Pigford looks to extend his 3 SHO's in 2110 postseason

Notable Stats so far in this postseason for Mobile: Rodney Pigford 3-1 0.75 ERA 0.75 WHIP Raymond Reynolds 2-1 2.88 ERA 0.96 WHIP Luis Izzo 3-0 2.00 ERA 0.85 WHIP

Senators reach the World Series for the 1st time since 2099.
Fun note: I was managing the team in 2002 for their 1st WS appearance and Championship. This is their 17th appearance now.
Looking to add their 10th WS trophy, but already down 1-0 in the series.

Your team just seems to want to play long series... you have plenty of time to get your four games

Lol, as if going 6 games in each of the previous rounds wasn’t enough...4 of those were extra inning games of 12, 12, 15, and 10 innings.

I’ve stopped watching the gameview this postseason because it’s too stressful.

And this one is going seven games. Deciding game is noon today!

It looks like Pigford has Harrisburg's number, but you never know. Still, it's hard to imagine beating a $10.5 million pitcher....

One game. Anything can happen. Pigford doesn't win every game he pitches. I will be on pins and needles watching this one unfold.

We took it as far as we could without getting the trophy. Game 7 with bases loaded in the 9th.
    Congrats. There’s always next year.
