Thread: State of the League...

    Re: State of the League...

...I know we have the "Milestones" section in the upper area, and doaf has worked hard to keep it up to date. But maybe we can add a section each season in this lower area, so owners can keep track of records as the develop over the course of each season?

I just saw the team in my franchise... thanks for adding me. It looks like I'll just wait until next season to make any changes. If anyone wants to deal... the front office is always answering PMs.

(By the way, I asked for this team because I live in a town called Plainfield... worked out nicely.)

Also, on PSFA's... I like 6-8... I've seen up to 13 in one league (24 in one season to seed the pot).

If you make me a commish, then I'll join the league and do heavy recruiting. I propose the league be renamed as "Hot Stove Baseball". This will be a free agent-driven free market league with only no rules and no draft. Instead, the commissioners will drop all drafted players on 7/15 and slow the game to 2 per day for four calendar days. That will allow the team owners to place bids on all the free agents of their choice. The primary benefit of this league format is that there will be no tanking. Instead, owners who know the value of players will thrive.

Okay, just an idea. I'm looking to join or create a no draft league.

Interesting idea but probably unworkable to keep owners on board...

I like the idea of only one round to draft...all players not drafted become FA on 7.15 up for bid...

This would make Financials very important
