you sound you really believe that. your team is carrying 32% seafat across 7 pitchers. assuming these are your better pitchers, that means they are getting tired earlier, your lesser pitchers are pitching more (BREEDLOVE should get some starts!) and so on...

eh, i'm starting to come around on the idea that I overreact to pitcher SEAFAT, and like 3-5% is not a big deal at all. I still think Ray's a straight maniac, but he's putting up double digit SEAFAT on his starters and it doesn't exactly seem to be killing him. I've always aimed for clean sheets, and I think I've cost my teams a handful of wins each year by doing so.

For rando the margins are just very thin with the team's actual base amount of talent. So they played 10% better than base for the 2/3 of the season while the players are fresh, and 5% worse for the 1/3 when the players are tired. Still very much a net positive, but he's up against teams with more baseline levels of talent.

Misty and Mexico just played a wild game with Small Ball playoff implications. Play By Play | Box Score

Misty came back from 2-0, 4-2 and 9-6 to win. The game winning grand slam came with 2 out in the 9th.

That has been said of me before by others, I tend to be 'aggressive', 'tip of the spear', 'Leeeroy' in most games I play, 'maniac' is another I can accept

you went into the playoffs with 10-15% SEAFAT on all your best pitchers and didn't rest them at all, in a season when you clinched a playoff spot with like 25 games to go and ended up 17 games ahead of 3rd place. "Maniac" is putting it mildly! But I respect the effort.

    Re: 2113 Season Discussion

I am not saying that Rando has been managing his team poorly. This is not a critique on Rando's management decisions. To remind us all, back when Rando was flying high and was boasting about how much better his team was, he and I had a brief post exchange. It was between the 5/21 and 5/22 sims, I believe.

RANDO: Joke your team has its own weaknesses very beatable as is

JOKE: Friend, Rando. Let's gauge your self-awareness. What is your own team's glaring weakness?

I went on to say that it was going to keep him out of the play-offs.

To me, it was a very measurable thing, and fairly easy to predict. 2B Washington, EN 24; SS Close, EN 39; 3B Matthews, EN 21, DH Lynch, EN 28; C Sanders, EN 47 (low for a catcher)

Also, most of the Starting Rotation had pitchers with low EN. That meant he was going to be reliant on a bullpen that was pretty ordinary--and overuse would expose it.

    So,

On or about 5/22 here is a snapshot of some of the offensive numbers:

    Washington .325
    Stewart .311
    Sanders .286
Lynch .330, with 15 HR through 45 games
    Matthews .302

    On 8/12:

    Washington .277
    Stewart .290
    Sanders .227
Lynch .275, but only 9 HR over the last 74 games, after hitting 15 in the first 45
    Matthews .283

    Washington has 16% SEA Fat
    Close has 16% SEA Fat
    Matthews has 16% SEA Fat
    Stewart has 13% SEA Fat
    Sanders has 12% SEA Fat

The middle infield is now starting to be forced to take off-days, now at a time when the team is struggling to get back into post-season contention. With a month and a half still left in the season, there is literally no place for this team to go but down. He just does not have the depth.
Joke? In't he that dude, disguised as a dude, playin' that other dude, bruh?

"Swerve. That dude is totally turnt."

    "Right?!?! He's crunk, Bruh!

Not as hilarious as you being 5 games out of play-off contention, dropping like a stone, and still talking crap.
