Closer has 200+ innings, more than any Starter

The Vegas Sharks sure do like to use their bullpen. Every reliever has over 100 innings pitched, and their closer 200!

Someone, experimenting with some type of "opener" strategy? (allowing a minimum of fatigue, and liberal bullpen parameters?)

COurse, most of that staff is trash judging by ERA. With 4 guys above 6.00

Anyway, forgot to mention at the time, but Mike Marshall's big year in 1974, he pitched over 200 innings (106 games)

I think Bob Stanley led the Red Sox one year (1982?) while pitching 168 innings over 48 relief appearances. (I think it is the record for innings per relief appearance in a season)

Edit: And to put Mike Marshall's season in context. The Dodgers had 33 CGs that year. Which means only 129 games a reliever was even needed, and he pops into 106 of them.
