    2094 Season

For the second time this season, Dubuque pitchers combined on a no-hitter; both of them on the road in various parts of Hawaii. Apparently this tropical air treats Dubuque pitchers quite well.

The first came back on April 17th, when Steve Nichols & Ian Briggs combined to no-hit Hawaii.

Then this past sim, on July 22nd, Frank Harrigan & Briggs combined to no-hit Honolulu.

Ouch! After holding a 3-1 series lead in the league championship series, Dubuque scored a grand total of two runs in the final three games to blow it. Hats off to Montreal for booking a trip to the World Series!

On the plus side, I now have some free time on my hands - so if anyone wants a player in LOW renamed, let me know. Just post it in the YOG rename forum page & I'll get to it soon.

Heartfelt congratulations to Les Habitants for doing what the Bears were never able to do: namely, knocking off mighty Dubuque (also hats off to the River Rats for a spectacular run, which probably ain't quite over yet).

Congrats to Montreal on a hard fought 7 game WS victory. Maybe one of these years I will clear the final hurdle....at least I know the rebuild has put me in contention for the WS for hopefully a long time.
