    2021 Season Talk

The Dodgers just took the first of a three-game set from Anaheim, so both teams now have identical won-loss records of 32-31. The only difference is that the Dodgers are in fourth place in our division while the Angels are in first place in theirs. Go figure.

Goodbye everyone. I'm having to cut back on my CSFBL teams (from 8 to 6) due to increased demands in other areas of life. Brooklyn is one of the team's I'm having to drop. Sorry about that.

David Umana has tied the league win record (406), also held by longtime teammate Michael Funkhouser.

Quite an accomplishment by both Umana and Funkhouser; I'd settle for just ONE pitcher to accomplish that feat!

It would be somehow fitting if they ended up tied, but we'll see if Umana can upstage his buddy. I think this is going to be his last year, because it hasn't been a good one.

Umana is now tied for #2 on my personal list. He won't get the 96 wins he needs to catch Jack Downey of PGML. He will, however, be my last 400 game winner for quite some time.

Super proud of the way my former team, Brooklyn, performed after I dropped them, going all the way to the LCS! Best wishes to the new owner, Hittsall.
