    1991 Winter Meetings

Georgia is in a position to move some guys.

Mainly some pitching. Lots of options including:

Jay Berrios 27 yo RHP https://www.csfbl.com/player/view.asp?playerid=4624425 99 PO 76 FI 63 SY 74 EN Actuals w some room to grow. I’ve used him as a closer but he may thrive as a starter.

    Howard Perales L 28 yo https://www.csfbl.com/player/view.asp?playerid=4657129 2.247 94/70/57/68 actuals SP or RP

Robert Busby 31 yo RHP in his prime. https://www.csfbl.com/player/view.asp?playerid=4646533 85 FI. 16-6/3.01 last season.

    Ken Loftin 29 yo https://www.csfbl.com/player/view.asp?playerid=4624399 74/75/74/71

Really anybody on my staff is open for discussion except Johnson or Porter.

    Hitters

Scott Jones 96 SL https://www.csfbl.com/player/view.asp?playerid=4622960 still plenty of power left. Career league leader in HRs. Will eclipse 500 this year. Not asking much - he could still give 3 or 4 or more good years of 35-40 HRs.

Also 37 yo Eric Greene https://www.csfbl.com/player/view.asp?playerid=4622638 A beast of the base on balls LOL. Still has 99 DI. Career 0.434 OBP w including all 10 seasons he’s played. Not asking much.

I’m looking for primarily draft picks but will consider prospects as well.

    Re: 1991 Winter Meetings

Oakland is shopping Michael Lewis for anyone interested.

EDIT: Had one offer that wasn't really in the realm of what I would be looking for. Leave there be no doubt Lewis will be a stud, but I have a couple of those already on my staff, so three big money pitchers is too much to pay. I am not looking to just dump him though, I will keep him locked up in my minors for as long as I can if I don't get the right offer. What is the right offer you ask, well an equivalent quality prospect at a position spot of similar age or a 1st round draft pick and more or less depending on the pick. A pick in the top 12 is kind of where I consider to be close to fair value, any worse will need a lot of extra relish on the side. Hope that gives everyone a starting point to make offers. I will entertain any offer, but unless close to what I just posted, I would rather hang on to him.

I’m thinking back to last season’s wild off season. I think the result of three way trades and free wheeling and super stars flying all over is we are all hung over....and I might add over cap. We have 8 teams 3+ million over cap - myself included. And 13 over cap. It’s not a place I like to be. I’d like to deal but being so far over cap hand cuffs me when it comes to back filling any holes I create by trading so Im kind of stuck unless I make enough cuts through trades to get under cap or close to it. Oh well - pedal to the metal and live in the present! Onward!

Yea, I'm kinda stuck with just rolling with what I have and with no money for allocations. I'll give it a go with little change for this season and decide which direction to go sometime later.
