    Free Agents

Something I have always wondered about free agency. If someone has been out on FA for more than a month, why does it still take several sims for them to sign after an offer is given? Honestly at that point, why aren't they signed immediately, even between sims? I get the reasoning for the delay in the first game time week or two. But after that, especially once the season has started, wouldn't it make sense if they just accepted right away since we can't offer less than their asking price anyway? I don't know exactly what the cutoff should be, but I would think after April 1, if someone has been out there for 2 game weeks that they should just be added immediately rather than having any delay.

Id say if theyve been available for like 30 days after the lock or the draft (for udfa's) i would agree
