Salary Cap

I just want to see what people think about the Salary Cap. I know I just joined here but !7 teams are above the Salary Cap. Eight teams are above $60 million. I had to drop $10 million to get to the salary cap. Above the Salary Cap it's hard to use FA's. Trades are out the window. I don't know what the average salary for a #1 free agent is but I have one who's salary is $7 million. I have one other player whose salary is $5 million. That one fifth of the cap for just two players.

We have had had numerous polls in the past which have been close. Its been a long time (perhaps 25 seasons) since we have one so i will get one up and running.

How high would we raise the cap? I'm in favor of 60 mil but would rather stay at 55 instead of 65. Holding off on my vote till I know more about the possible raise.

Any cap raise should be to 60mill max for now. That can be reviewed at a later date as well but there is no sensibility in making a massive change. 60mill is tried and tested and works fine.

Im all for a cap raise, but I would also put in a hard cap. I would set the cap in the game at 75M, but set the actual league cap at 60M. That way we should all be able to get full scouting and development while all being on the same playing field cap wise. See who can draft and build their teams the best.

Hello! I think we should set the proper cap for the salaries. 60$ million is a very high price. For some people, even 1000$ is good money, so at some point, we need to set the proper cap for the yearly salary for our workers. After reading your question, I went to the online paystubs service generator. I counted the amount of taxes I owe to the government since I am paying around 150$ million as a salary. It is a huge amount of money, especially in the global COVID-19 pandemic crisis.

I love that in professional sports, there is a salary cap (or wage cap) with the role of an agreement or rule that places a limit on the amount of money that a team can spend on players' salaries. Moreover, it exists as a per-player limit, a total limit for the team's roster, or both, which offers additional methods to control crazy spending on acquiring new players by the top clubs. I wonder whether they use pay stub creator when concluding the multi-million dollar contracts
