    Aspen beats Arlington 76-65

    Scrimmage sent to Omaha
    College World Series
Notre Dame Fighting Irish (1970-present): 2 championships, 1975 and 1985
    Florida State Seminoles (1950-1965)

I have enough psuedos left for 2 scrimmages, I'll send one to NYC and to Lansing for now.

Already scrimmaged NYC, but it was an experimental lineup, so I'm not willing to count that. They'll kill me anyway, but we'll try again.

Good news is, through all scrimmages and games so far, I'm 5-1 when I've outshot my opponent. Unfortunately, my opponent has out-shot me 17/23 games.

    Lost to NYC, 70-77.

    Re: Official DriveTheLane Thread

L34 - scrimmages have been a mixed bag, but EXH games themselves going great. Both opponents ranked right around #100 with wins of 91-45 and 79-43. Feels like defense is almost as good as last season with more reliable scoring.

L37 - doing JUST enough to advance in the tourney.

Round 1 beat LA 76-74. LA tied the game with 22s left. Next possession my SG is making a drive for the basket and the D gets called for non-shooting foul against him while we’re in the double bonus. He sinks both FT with 6s left, and LA can’t make the desperation heave.

Round 2 beat Anaheim 85-84 in OT. Moved 7’0” senior Drolet to PF from bC for the game to boost rebounding. Drolet came through in the clutch. Got fouled on a short 2 with 2s left and drained both FT to force OT. Then at end of OT with score tied he got fouled on a midrange shot with 2s left, making 1 of 2, but enough for the win.

Despite the late game heroics, we’ll need a big upset against Marsupial to snag an NTT berth. We beat his guys by 1 early season and lost by 11 more recently. I’m hoping a rejuvenated Drolet could be the difference.

Yeah that was a killer. Since we had no luck against you during the season I moved my shotblocker Incorvaia into the starting lineup and brought Strong off the bench, but that was probably an overreaction. We are PTT bound now.
