    Tulsa rebuild: studs for sale

First in the under-30 hitter category:

SS James Zubia - 27 years old
    4x AS
85-85 BA-SL guy with 79-75-81 defense. Very strong player.

    2B James Brewer - 25 years old
89/89 RA at a key position.

    3B Robert Ford - 27 years old
    1x AS, 4x GG
88 DI and enough BA-SL to maintain a career .820 OPS. Excellent defender.

CF Walter Tovar - 26 years old
86/86 RA with 84/84 BA. Poor DI/SL limits OPS but at least a .700 OPS guy with strong defense.

RF Jerry Bigby - 29 years old
    1x AS
90 for CN/SL, decent BA. /160 figures of 30 doubles and 40 HR.

    3B Tracy Holloman - 29 years old
    2x AS
92 BA, nothing else. May have better luck in a large outfield, especially with turf.

    Now the over-30 hitters:

LF Kevin Gonzalez 37 years old
    3x AS
Ageless wonder has lost 3 DI 0 CN 4 BA 4 SL from potentials his whole career. 91/95 SL should be good for another 45 HR campaign.

    1B Jimmy Young - 30 years old
Cheap yet solid .750 OPS guy with great RA (yes, 1B RA matters). Would be decent option for depth for contender. Worth late 2nd rounder?

RF Richard Nunez - 36 years old
    4x AS
Declining but 77-85 BA-SL may help someone. Another late-2nd value due to declining.

LF Phillip Stoddard - 37 years old
Still has 96/99 DI. Key to his career is a -8 RL split. Have a stud lefty that can't hit righties? Throw in Stoddard and his .400 OBP for next to nothing. .432 career OBP vsRHP!

Re: Tulsa rebuild: studs for sale

    Finally, pitchers of all ages:

David Hill - 27 years old
70/77 PO 90/97 FI 79/79 EN. Lots to like here.

Manuel Dwyer - 33 years old.
    5x AS
Dwyer dropped FI down to 88 but still has 80 EN and solid secondary skills. Should remain a 3.0 ERA guy for another year and several more serviceable years.

Victor Espinoza - 34 years old
    5x AS
Well, it's hard to say, but somehow 13 games of 4.34 ERA isn't quite what I had in mind for my '44 pick, especially since it'll likely be Top-5. Damn. Still, Espinoza flipped to 98/98 SY. He's still got talent. Help me salvage my dignity here!

Donald Bell - 25 years old
80-83 PO-FI, good EN. Could be strong bullpen guy.

Haha, Givens clearly deserves a Top 5 pick. Think of his mentoring for your young pitchers!

If only I could talk Hong out of retirement...

Re: Tulsa rebuild: studs for sale

Still with several high performers left.

    Most notably:
    1) RF Jerry Bigby
29 y/o SL>BA guy is in the middle of his prime. .850 career OPS with 40 HR/160. Worth a late first.

    2) RF Richard Nunez
36 y/o SL>BA guy is slightly declined, but he still has plenty of SL. .872 OPS this year, standard year for him. Worth a late 2nd.

    3) 2B James Brewer
25 y/o with 89/89 RA and good AR. I got him for a late first, and at his age, that is still his value.

    4) CF Walter Tovar
    26 y/o with 86/86 RA and 80+ BA. Was a #41 selection, and still worth a late 2nd.

    5) SP Victor Espinoza
34 y/o still has 99/99 SY. 2.7 ERA so far this year. Could definitely help a contender. Worth a late 1st or early 2nd.
