I sense that there is a sizable contingency of owners that either legitimately believe that my team shall surely collapse--or wish it so intensely that they have convinced themselves of its inevitability.

I will repeat, to those who did not listen before: I have been playing fake baseball since before some of you were born. I am the Ancient One. There is not a scrap of code, a game scenario, a team skill-combination that I have not experienced. I have reviewed and cataloged hundreds of stat progression histories. This rich tapestry of experience is invoked in any game decision that I make, right down to the player fatigue settings.

You can all be assured: I have accounted for the future in this GOAT competition.

the group is at least 1 large. I've checked the code on this and for that i am certain.

Everybody else is too scared to post in your thread for threat of future youth pot convictions.

Someone needs to make tapestries a higher priority. It's a life choice.

    Another mother's breakin'
    Heart is taking over
    When the violence 'causes silence
    We must be mistaken

It's the same old theme since 1916
In your head, in your head they're still fighting
With their tanks and their bombs
And their bombs and their guns
In your head, in your head they are dying

Some final post scripts to the 1991 season:
Offensive MVP: SS Charles Henry. Henry led the team with 39 HR and 117 RBI. He also rapped 10 triples.
Pitching MVP: Close contest between Hooker and Carstensen, but Hooker (21-7, 2.71 241 K's) wins the team award.
Defensive MVP: Tie between C Reinhard and 2B Stringfellow. Stringfellow won the GG. Reinhard was amazing, at an under-appreciated position.

GOAT 2 Points for the season: 270 in the bank, 938.75 currently on the board (200 for most wins, 250 for most championships, 200 for highest run differential, and an eight way split of most play-offs).

This may seem like a self-indulgent was of looking at it, but as long as you keep the perspective of banked points separate from "on the board" points, it is useful to keep the running total.

I am guessing that it will take about 2000 total points to be in the running at the end for GOAT 2 champion.
