    CSFBL is retiring Cavernous Bandboxes

The following email has been sent to the 8 remaining owners of Cavernous Bandboxes.

Due to low ownership, Cavernous Bandboxes will be shutting its doors. But there is good news to report. Cavernous Bandboxes WILL NOT be purged.

CSFBL will be retiring the league. The history of the league will remain and still be accessible. Players from the league will still be eligible to show up in the record books. Your win/loss and playoff record will be preserved. The teams and the players will be “frozen” and the team will be removed from your franchise.

If ownership support for this league develops in the future, the league can be unfrozen and resume again. In the meantime, you can take comfort that your fake players will be resting peacefully in their fake cryogenic chambers. And you’ll still be able to access their player cards and your team history if you miss them.

If you’re looking to find a new team to fill the void, post in the I Want a New Team thread and commissioners will recruit you to manage the best teams available throughout CSFBL. Or browse through leagues with teams available to find your next squad.

Thanks for being part of the CSFBL community. Play ball!

A few owners are currently trying to shepherd their favorite leagues out of retirement like MLB World and AGPL. If you'd like to try to resurrect CB, jut ask.
